We’ve got a class for you too! We offer classes for ALL levels. Please register online to ensure your spot and view our class schedule.
We are currently offering outdoor yoga classes, held under a tent if inclement weather. As we look to the rules under Step 3 of the Provincial Reopening Plan, we will look to the possibility of moving classes back indoors. Please stay tuned for an update soon.

Want to go take a yoga class but not sure where to start? Private yoga sessions are a great option for beginners, students who are dealing with injuries, are uncomfortable in group classes, or prefer one on one attention. Working with Megan Green, Strathmere’s Yoga Manager, students can expect to have sequences designed for their body’s needs that include: traditional and contemporary yoga poses, self massage, balance work and breathing (pranyama) techniques, hands on adjustments, and much more! Learn to stretch, strengthen, and build balance safely in the beautiful environment of The Retreat at Strathmere.

Yoga Class Descriptions
Can’t touch your toes? No worries! Yoga is not just for super flexible & fit people; yoga is for everyone. Our all levels class (titled as Yoga) will help you feel better in your body through breath focused movements. Enjoy stillness, peace, and increased physical confidence through the practice of yoga.
Let’s move! Flow yoga is all about matching yoga poses to the rhythm of your breath. This breath focused practice combines poses that will both strengthen and lengthen your muscles. Some experience in yoga is helpful, but this class can be modified for students of all levels. (Note: Hot Flow is taught in the same style in a room heated to 90℉.
Yin Yoga and Self Massage
A yin yoga class that combines body therapy and stress reduction. The poses, sequences and routines quickly identify “body blind spots”– areas of the body that tend to get underused and are typically the catalyst for pain and injury. Using therapy balls throughout certain parts of the practice, probing layers of muscles, tendons, connective tissue and joints, ultimately excavating unhealthy tension patterns and moving you back into physical and mental balance.
This class is structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Yoga props are often used for a safe practice and to allow the body to fully relax into achieve each pose. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching, while releasing stress and tension.
This slow-paced style of yoga is designed to affect the connective tissues of your body through longer held poses. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims to cultivate awareness, inner stillness, and a sense of interconnection both physically and energetically. This class is suitable for all levels.
Fit yoga connects you with your inner warrior. Linking breath through movement. A flowing practice which cultivates strength, flexibility, balance, focus and endurance. It tones and sculpts the entire body allowing for rapid results. A challenge for the mind through the body, this class will show you just what you are capable of. On and off the mat. Some experience is helpful, but this class can be modified for students of all levels.
STOTT PILATES exercises help both men and women of all ages develop strength, flexibility,
endurance and posture, without building bulk or stressing joints. It is a great complement to
cardiovascular exercise, athletic training or rehabilitation. Like yoga there is an emphasis on deep
breathing and smooth movements. The difference is that while yoga moves from one static
posture to the next, Pilates moves through a series of dynamic movements and sometimes uses
