Yin Yoga Basics

Curious about Yin Yoga? Been practicing for a while but would like to understand it’s roots a little better? Come experience the quiet and profound practice of Yin Yoga with Strathmere’s very own experienced instructor, Kim Bolton.

Yin Yoga is the perfect compliment to our busy lives. In this session we’ll step away from the hustle bustle and slow down to give our body, heart and mind a chance to catch up, process and {ideally} release.

Through this 2 hour session we will learn about the roots of Yin, it’s simple principles, and practice together.

Yin Yoga Basics is suitable for all levels.

Kim has a profound love for Yoga and a deeply rooted belief that Yoga is meant for every body, regardless of age, health, or physical condition. We all have to start somewhere, and it begins with that first mindful breath.  Kim teaches a number of different styles of yoga, including Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and most recently the ASD sequences to special needs groups.

Kim has dedicated the past 6 years to intensive study, taking her yoga on and off the mat, to complete both her E-RYT200 and E-RYT500 levels of certifications. A never- ending path of discovery, Kim continues to learn, practice and share.  

Kim’s classes are taught with compassion and kindness, and she hopes to inspire anyone who attends her class to find their own connection, one breath at a time.
