In many cultures, herbs & edible flowers blur the lines between flavour and medicine, so that the basic need of eating can also be a way to improve your health. Although you may feel intimidated about how to use herbs, there are no secret rules – except to play and experiment!
In this Workshop, Colin will offer tips on how to grow a variety of culinary herbs and flowers, both annual and perennial, so you can add a fresh supply of flavour and beauty to your meals all season long. We will talk about harvesting, using and preserving for use through the winter, and make an herb and flower infused vinegar for you to take home. To finish, we will enjoy a harvest salad together, enhanced with freshly picked herbs and flowers.
