Strathmere has 3 beautiful facilities for special occasions:

Strathmere Inn, an 1860s home built entirely of fieldstone, with sweeping circular staircase. The Carriage House, the Inn’s main banquet room, overlooks the front lawn, canopied under majestic 100-year old walnut trees. The Inn Veranda offers a beautiful view of the Heritage Garden and its many splendours. Common areas include a full-service bar lounge and reception room.

Strathmere Lodge, a beautifully renovated 100-year-old barn with 3 fieldstone fireplaces, comfortable lounge, open loft, and large dance floor. A spacious licensed patio overlooks the rolling farm fields, enclosed with split rail fencing, and is lit with white lights offering a magical twinkling of light, not to compete with the stars!

The Garden House, with wrap-around windows and walls clapped with wood and polished to a soft glow with a warm honey-red stain and accented with a mocha ledge-rock wall. The Garden House has two fieldstone fireplaces, comfortable lounge, large dance floor and licensed patios overlooking the woods and the orchard, with the restful sound of water spraying from the nearby fountain.

The maximum capacity for the Lodge is 210 guests for dinner and 250 for a reception.
The maximum capacity for the Garden House is 160 guests for dinner and 210 for a reception.
Larger groups can be accommodated with the addition of marquees or with exclusive rental of multiple facilities and The Gathering Place.

An experienced Event Coordinator to assist you prior to and on the day of the function
Standard ivory linen tablecloths (90” round), napkins, oil lanterns, tables & chairs
Decorated fireplace mantles, and planters and urns filled with flowers throughout the growing season

Assistance with transportation arrangements.

Strathmere offers 1/2 price facility fee on exclusive use for Saturday evening functions booked less than 6 weeks from the date of the event!
